Updates, updates, and more updates!

Ok, so it's been a while since I last posted so you'll have to forgive me. A lot has been going on with us getting used to the new little one in the home! Hopefully I'll be able to get everything updated on here, but in the meantime here are some pictures of our outing to the beach a few days ago. We all had a lot of fun and the dogs seem to be enjoying our having a truck again the most! They have gotten to go with us so much more!

First Night Home

So today was a very exciting day for our little family. We got to bring our sweet little boy home and boy did that make us feel like kids on Christmas morning! Robert is doing such an amazing job nursing that we haven't had any problems come up so far. I do a lot of pumping since feeding is one of Alyssa's favorite ways of helping. She has been such the little trooper that "Bobby" even had some gifts for her when we brought him home! He had quite the first day home from the hospital. After bringing him to the house and taking a nap we decided to fulfill our promise and introduce him to our favorite neighbors up river! I'm so happy they were as excited to see him as we are! I only wish I had taken lots more pictures while visiting but I never realize my phone can still be used as a camera until our visits are usually over! :( But I'm glad I at least got a picture with Jerry and Renee! Next time I hope we get to introduce him to Glen and Cathy but he was sick and she's working graveyard for now. We can't wait to show him off to all our family too! But until then we will try to keep the blog up to date as possible!

Alrighty,
Henceforth, "Matt Jr" shall be referred to as Robert Allen Henry. Robert was born via C-Section yesterday afternoon (Easter Sunday) at 4:34PM. Apparently the Stork had the day off, so the Easter Bunny filled in. He weighs in at a hefty 6lbs, 10oz. and is 19.25in long. Very good size considering he's 6 weeks early. Both Robert and April are resting up and are doing well. Robert is already able to nurse with little help and is getting his fill of milk. He is breathing without any supplemental oxygen, and is keeping his heat up pretty well, so he doesn't need to be in an incubator. April, Alyssa and I appreciate everyone's thoughts and prayers and can't wait for you to meet little Bobby.

Wildlife Park

We had a wonderful time enjoying the beautiful sunshine today by taking Alyssa to the Wildlife Park close to home. She was so excited to see all the animals and loved being able to pet and play with the baby tigers!

Grumpy Gus!

Had an ultrasound done and were lucky enough to get a 3D picture! Tight space made it challenging, but we got to see his face. He sure doesn't look happy about his tight living conditions, but he's still adorable to me!
