BBQ

A couple weeks ago we went to a bbq at Matt's new senior chiefs house. We had a lot of fun and got to meet some of the new people coming in to work with Matt. Alyssa had a lot of fun playing with the new kids and she already has one of the little boys taking care of her. It was so cute. They both had sticks and were hitting some leaves on a tree when Alyssa fell and one of her shoes fell off. The little boy was so sweet and went to help her up and she held out her foot and made him put her shoe back on. The Kimmons have such sweet kids and very well behaved!

More Quackers and Cheese please!!!

Duck, Duck.....no goose!!

So for my birthday Matt bought me the two cutest presents ever! We are getting closer and closer to having our very own Henry petting zoo. Now introducing the newest members Quackers and Cheese!! Quackers is the smaller brown one and Cheese is the bigger black and yellow one. We are already having so much fun with them. Click, Clack, Quack!!

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood oh won't you be my neighbor!

What a beautiful day it was today! We went down the road to check out the possibility of purchasing a piece of property along the riverside when we got caught up at our sudo family's place hanging out having fun and taking in the great weather. Matt learned how to use Glen's tractor to plow and Alyssa had fun playing with Kylie and Kaden in the dirt and painting beautiful pictures and of course her dress needed some more color from the bland pink and brown. We have so much fun here and are so lucky to have found such a close nit neighborhood that they would offer up several properties to keep us around for neighbors long term. I hope that we are able to grab this opportunity to guarantee a home for our retirement in the area Matt has been wanting to retire for many years and that I have come to appreciate for it's beauty and laid back neighbors that you can go to for anything from a cup of sugar to oil to heat your house. I have to say I have never been more happy to be wrong!

Preview of Spring!!

Last week we were fortunate enough to get a break in the winter rain with a few gorgeous days so we decided to spend as much time outside getting everything ready for gardening season. Alyssa and Rachel were having a blast helping out and chasing the chickens. I can't wait until spring has officially sprung!!
