Alyssa's Day Out!!

Hey all, Matt here. April, Alyssa and I went on an exploring spree at Golden Gate Park, as April wanted to find the Carousel and children's play area. After making a couple laps of the park, we asked for directions at Stowe Lake and were pointed in the right direction. Luckily we arrived at the Carousel before it closed for the day and Alyssa loved it. After the ride on our faithful, yet speedy rooster we played around in the play area before calling it a day. A good day was had by all!

More updates!!

August has been a very exciting month for our family!! Matt was able to fix his eyes with PRK surgery and the best part was that it was paid for by the military!! We are very fortunate to have these opportunities due to Matt's career. Alyssa also has learned how to sit and everyday she gets closer and closer to crawling!! I see the wheels turning in her head everyday!! She is such a smart little girl!! She is so much like her father it's amazing!! Matt's eyes are healing very well and at his appointment today his vision was a combined 20/30 and the optometrist believes he could possibly have 20/15 by the end of his recovery!! We can't wait to see what he ends up with. Until then it's eye drops, eye drops, eye drops!!!

Gilroy Garlic Festival '08

This past weekend we went to the Gilroy Garlic Festival with a friend and we had so much fun!! We ate a ton of garlic food and Matt was even brave enough to eat the garlic ice cream!! I was so hot that day and the fact that we went as a break from cleaning the old place and we were already sweaty from that didn't really help, but we ended up getting some really cool shirts to change into when we got there. Alyssa loved her "Little Stinker" outfit and it ended up suiting her perfectly by the end of the day. We ended up running out of diapers and having to ask someone if we could buy a diaper off of them. You do what you got to do I guess! Everyday is a little adventure and learning experience when you become parents!!

Welcome to our new home!! Matt and I are currently in the process of moving out of military housing and are moving into a new house!! It's perfect for our little family and there's plenty of room for the dogs to run around too!! It was just what we were looking for!! Here are a few pictures!!
